so, painting and putting mesh behind my grille turned out to be an awesome idea and came out great.

i'm very pleased with it :icon_thumby:

here's how the truck's looking now, already different from when i purchased it less than a month ago. i also cranked the keys to level it out. next step is a body lift when i have the time and money.

ain't got no camera, man. all my pics that you'll ever see from me on here are from my phone lol

but yeah, man, i'm really liking the bumper, gives it a nice attitude. i just gotta finish cleaning and painting my new wheels and put them on and the whole truck will be looking meaner.

wow thats cool! time to update the avatar too...
and get a camera lol

Looks good man! Thanks for sharing! It would look good with the grill oval background painted black with white lettering. Not sure how you could do the white lettering, but it would look great IMO.

Looking at the bumper, the valance would look good either painted black or white, I'm not sure which yet. You could paint the valance white then powder coat the bumper black, maybe some photochop folks could whip that out.

yessir, it was. dry and wet sanded it with 400 grit. used extra duplicolor gloss black pant to paint it up and then epoxied the mesh behind it.
