What do you mean by "they don't work"?

Turbonators work, they simply swirl the airflow at the carb, it is the overinflated claim the devices make is what we are discussing, which I reckon would be very dependant on the vehicle, the condition of that vehicle and driving habits.

Well first of all I cannot believe this baby got revived but oh well.

I am gonna go out on a VERY short limb here and say if a device doesn't do what the manufacturer claims it does (no matter how outlandish the claim may be) then it flat out DOES NOT WORK period. I don't see how you can think even though it still spins air it is working, if your HDTV turns on but only outputs an SD picture with an HD source would you say it's working? I know I wouldn't.

Just so everyone knows I have had better mileage since I took that POS out.

when i saw :look what came.... i was thinking about animals, or any weird stuff not that....thing, i havent used it, but in my opinion they dont work as the manufacturer claims, maybe they help a bit but nothing that u may notice clearly, maybe they do work in some engines, and in others they just dont

the theory about spinning air is great. and im sure it works fine in a lab somewhere and in tornado's.

But I'm sure the air Stops swirling in a nice tornado fashion the second it gets to the intake manifold. Because at that point it needs to split up into how ever many ports you happen to have.

So unless you put a Mini swirling device on every intake port the whole thing is pointless.

The demonstrator they use to "prove" it works is two 3-liter pop bottles
with colored water inside one and the turbinator between them.

the reason the demonstrator works is it swirls the water to the outside
allowing the air in the bottle to escape from the lower bottle into the
upper through the middle.

In an engine the air moves "down" because it is being drawn in and pumped out.

All you need to do to show the demonstrator is a hoke is to punch a 1/2" hole in BOTH bottles in which case the turbinator is shown to be ONLY a restriction.

claiming that the swirl helps "atomize the fuel" is only believeable to someone who has nhever seen an injector spray pattern...
