look wat i got

very nice find.

don't be surprised if it seems gutless, i know my friends 89 bronco 2 with the 2.9 was a little gutless with his 31s on it and no lift or anything. Keeping in mind that he has no gears or anything.

I would definately watch the d28 as well, many people on here say they are weak, but then others will argue that it works well. Just dont try to wheel it hard with taller gears and big tires heh axle shafts can break fairly easy. If it was my truck i'd swap a d35 in, but hey, do what you want :).

already am cosidering the 35 swap, anyone kno were i can get affordable bumpers that will mount a winch on the front? the 2.9 seems to have guts, i can pull 75 at 2000RPM with ease

i stuck the b2 carrier on my 95, just had to cut part of the carrier bracket. the beds are pretty similar, i would assume it could bolt up. i've also been told the james duff b2 bumper/tire carrier will fit with a slight adjustment of the mounts.

if ya do the stock b2 carrier, make sure u reiforce the hell outta the sheet metal, mine started to rip out of the bed side/tailgate skin.

Dana 28's are fine with stock tires and not abused.
On a daily driver they are slightly lighter and less bulky.

I stand corrected. the 28 is fine depending on what you will be using it for. I have been TRYING to break my 28 with 3.73's and 31's and I can't. i have a 35 waiting to go in when it does break. But so far no can do. Not a busted shaft or anything.

thanks for all the help and info guys

super cab

Nice, just like my 88 but for the color.

Now, get rig of that shell, stick a roll bar with lights on it, do wheels and tires, cut the fenders and add Pacer flares, shocks, bumpers and winch, jerry cans, pick and shovel, air supply and I'll race you up the hill of your choice ... :derisive:
