Longer brake lines on a 1991 Ranger 4x4 with ABS

I got an email from someone stating:

I have a 1991 Ford Ranger, 4WD, 2.9L V6, XLT with ABS brakes. I need longer brake lines.

But the problem is that company's list the longer braided lines for the 1991 Ford Ranger as NON-ABS ONLY. If I recall correctly, it's a t-block issue, but I don't really remember.

Does anyone know what you need to do to put longer aftermarket braided lines on a 1991 Ford Ranger with ABS?

Ummm I don't think 4wabs came about till 95 on rangers. 91 is just RABS.

I think its the trans. year that ford brought about the little T fitting/block on the drivers coil bucket. and if i'm thinking right the drivers side line had a diffrent size fitting...think it boils down to if the truck had rabs or not. rabs trucks got the t fitting block, where the non rabs trucks were straight brake line from solid to soft.


just some random info, some of the I beam explores(91-94) like the limited came with 4wabs vs the rabs only. only know that from pulling a set of beams off one back in the day.
