Confused and Intolerant
Alright guys, I got an evil plan I'm conjuring up with my best friend, I'm building a rally car.

I am selling my 1979 Ford Bronco Custom for $200 to a junker and combining it with Jason's fund of $200 and buying a 1978 Datsun 280z with a 2.8L I6 - 3spd automatic - RWD.

Its got very little rust, we are going to see if it runs this weekend, and its got like 60,000miles. Not to mention this condition of this car is worth about $10,000 itself.

I was wondering if anyone here has experience with Rally Sports? I found the rules and regulations, but I'm looking for someone to help us out on making this thing race worthy.

Pics of the Datsun soon

comes from finding out what the local ones are for sale around me, I found people will pay as much as $10k for one in this condition, in fair condition they go for about $3,500 to $6,000.

I was wondering about that. I had one once and it was great. I see them every once in awhile for around $3000-5000 in really great 'get in it and drive anywhere' shape around my area. The 240's are still bringing in money in great rust free shape. Nobody wants an automatic....but YOU...lol

I want a standard honestly, but its an Auto. I was going to fix that with the rally conversion though.

if its worth that much... sell it and buy you an already built rally car. lol

LOL. Leave it like it is and put in a V8....lol

anything in PA that hasn't fallen apart from cancer is worth more than it would be in other states..

tioga PA, and I get it now, just the way he said it I was confused

Holy crap. You are pretty far out there.
I am mostly interested in the axles/steering/suspension if you are willing to take them off.

sure, if you can take the rest to the junkyard Ill remove them lol

I took another close look at the car and Ill be buying it for $250! It runs, drives, but needs minor framework after a close examination. It should be roadlegal in under $200. It even has new tires on it!
