long block 4.0 ??

anyone know a good company to buy a long block from? i was going to buy from ford ( most reliable i can think of ) theyre at $2070 for there long blocks

can anyone suggest another company?
i was looking at marshall engines, but the reviews i read were bad.

then i found this company called engines direct off ebay... they want $1800

itd be cool to save a few bucks.

For trying to save that small amount of money on a complete engine I wouldn't take a chance on someone far away.. The Ford k=dealer is just around the corner! Ford guys don't want bad publicity.. They'll take care of you in the event of a failure, where the eBay across the country might not take care of you to your liking.
In my case I'd save some money and get a long block from a junk yard.. Or rebuild my own engine myself..

yeah thats a fact for sure, haha. i was just throwing around ideas in my head like always and thought id ask.

You might see what a local machine shop would want to rebuild it.
