locked up brakes NEED HELP

Lol people just like to pick on you for your lack of spelling skills.

I've driven a humvee for 1 mile with e brake on. I'm like... "what's that smell? Awww shit!"

Good going on the de-adjusting! This sounds more and more like just a rusted-stuck E-brake cable.

Go ahead, while you got it torn apart to see for sure, to check the same cable on the other side.

Brake job, re-adjust.....no more "oh crap did anyone just see me do that?".

Been there, done it myself.

See man, this is the kind of thread that is productive and is good for the site, keep posting like this and you will learn a lot. If you keep posting you raced a ricer then people will keep hassling you.

It's your decision, so please choose to post intelligent questions...

Ya it's a different world than my last site. My last one was about Nissan altima's ass raping overly loud untuned ricers, and the occasionally v6 stang and if not a cobra... V8 Mustang. Cobras would win 95% of time. Thats the 2000 era one. Here, it's about making your truck run good, fixing it, and doing things most people would shy away from, toyour truck of course.
I miss my grocery getter haha.

This is why I was nice in my post.:icon_thumby:

Good luck sorting it out.

I have a suggestion if you see smoke coming from the brakes dont take your hand and touch the drum or rotor unless you want to get rid of those pesky fingerprints. :-)
