You little rascal. That's a good idea. Gonna go break into some Rangers now.

says the guy who could get a set of keys at anytime.:icon_rofl:

True. On any Ford vehicle 2002 and up I can just take the first 3 and last 8 of the VIN to work and get a key.

And my part's manager is probably too dumb to ask questions. I just tell him "my neighbor locked his keys in the car."

If I recall, there was a big deal made about people posting another way to get into trucks with electric locks... Something about it being on the internet where everybody can see it and what not..

Point taken, but if I really want into your ranger the door locks are the least of my worries. Got a universal key.. its called a hammer..lol :icon_thumby: Dont know where the ranger ranks in most stolen vehicles but I cant imagine its very high on the list. Especially the older ones which most of us have.

It's not that I'm worried about somebody getting into my truck (besides, all of my tools are in the back), it just seems weird since I'm pretty sure at least one of the previous threads got locked pretty quickly.

It is good to know though.

I wish I knew this truck the three times I had to break into my truck via the sliding rear window >___________>

Thats why i posted it here on a website for ranger entusiasts under the title "locked out" and not on youtube under the title "how to break into a ford ranger"
