I just got the new LMC catalog of Ranger Parts, and with the exception of engines, short blocks and trannies, transfer cases and such, they seem to have almost everything a person could want to rebuild their Ranger to like new configuration/condition. I spent last night going thru the catalog page by page, system by system, to put together my own catalog of parts I would need to rebuild my 94 4L V-6 Super Cab Ranger. I want to know if anyone else has gone this route, what your opinion of the quality of LMC's parts and service are, and if it is good to go to use their parts to do a rebuild whilst keeping the truck on the road and running, ect. Comments, etc, anyone ?

need to look at one.

can you get just bed skins?

their parts are at times, more expensive than some other places. but there are also parts they have that no one else carries. i keep my catalog current and us it as a reference for my 1st gen ranger. nice being able to see what other models and years use the same parts as your truck. many of their after market stuff is the same as the off-road stores carry so i'm sure their parts are of competitive quality. only bad thing i've ever heard about them is their prices on some items.

Usually good quality stuff, and a lot of stuff that you can't get anywhere else....

but they are a bit pricey. Any of the larger items I often look elsewhere for, especially things that ship truck freight because that adds an automatic $125 onto the bill for shipping. I've looked at them for gas tanks before but always bought them elsewhere because I could get a better deal - I've had two tanks shipped from two other places and got free shipping on 'em, something that LMC doesn't offer at all.

I have made several purchases from them in the past and been happy. I'm told that a lot of their body panels aren't real high quality though.

I've never actually seen one in printed page form, but I have used their online catalogue..its really good for learning the actual name of a part so that I can speak intelligently about whatever it is I just broke.

generally good parts, never had a problem with the body panels ive gotten from them, can be pricey, but i have one for every truck i drive lol

When I first got my Bii I ordered a clutch kit, slave cylinder, and multiple other parts including body mount bushings. Now I look at it and yes, some parts are pricey. But ill also fight that all of their parts are good quality and they have parts you won't find anywhere else. My friends and I still use LMC, and suggest other to as well for those hard to find pieces.

I ordered a new fog light from them... Was supposed to be just the housing, but it included a new bulb too, so I was pretty happy! Good people to work with, shipping was fast, granted I'm only 3 hours from them, but it was still fast.

I put it in close to a year ago and its still working great.

So, thumbs up to LMC!:icon_thumby:

I have been thru the online catalog, almost bought a cowl hood until I saw the disclaimer at the bottom. "These parts are shipped from overseas and may have some "slight" damage that might need repair". That was enough for me not to order.
