It works too, we tested it when we got it, and at night, haha, it looks pretty awsome!

Not gonna use it unless we ABSOLUTELY need too, but its still awsome to have up there, haha.

Could not pass up $15 for that!

awesome! now pull ppl over!

for some reason in my town everyone in my town thinks my truck is a police truck. lol everyone comes riding up my ass then backs wayyyyyy off haha. nice find though !

Kip, don't get arrested.

Be careful with that... In some states it's illegal for that to even be on the car (much less lit up) if you aren't a police officer or on the fire brigade.

Cool find tho!

Great... another person who buys lights to act like a cop... just what we need.

Do not use this on road or it will bring nothing but trouble

In CT, only firefighters are allowed to have those, and you need a DMV-issued permit with the fire chief's signature to have it. I *think* it's legal to have one on your vehicle no matter what, as long as you don't actually use it on the road or even in parking lots (so, what's the point?), but I could be wrong on that.

nice find for sure. i am just as sure it has the potential for many, many tall tales of excitement, awesome stories about the night life inside the local jail, and the ever enthralling debate between you and the local "Judge Judy". yep, can't wait myself.

as a resident of pa like kip and a volunteer firefighter i can tell you that the blue lights on my pickup are registered with the PSP. (Pennsylvania state police) blue lights are just a courtesy light for the vfd here in this state. in our department fire police captain, assistant chief and chief run reds and are required to have a siren mounted on their truck/car.
what i see here is another wanna be. I've been a vol.fire fighter for 24 years now if you want to have the privilege to have that light on something then "GO GET THE PROPER TRAINING AND USE IT FOR WHAT IT WAS MEANT FOR" if not sell it to someone who will use it for what it was meant to be used for.:annoyed:

I am a camera man, I make movies, lights like these HELP haha, and save a lot of money when so cheap =)

I was going to become volunteer fire, but waiting till I move to Mass. since mom said no to me while I am in high school. Although dad wanted to join with me since he had rebuilt a firetruck and donated it to the fire department when he was in his early 20's.

But I will take it with me to college =) gonna really use it for its main purpose there. Volunteer fire.

Blue lights are volunteer fire here, just about all its used for.

Get ya a Ham radio license an tell'em your a storm chaser/emergency responder....

Wacker for short.......

Most storm chasers use yellow lights. And some are cheap and use the good old CB. Thou when I go chasing storms, I stay the hell out its path. And the CB with WX band gives me the info to do so.
