List of B2 Options that never made it to production and some that did.

My bII has,
-eddie bouer trim
-power windows
-power locks
-Tinted rear windows
-vent windows (optional?)
-posi
-manual t-case
-manual hubs
-no roof rack

i had no idea vent windows would be optional hehe
Those are standard options that could have been had on any Bronco II.

yeah i just realised i miss-read someones post on the tinted windows and vent windows...

I owned an 85 BII with rear buckets. Rear buckets were identical to the front. I wish I wouldn't have scrapped it now. Front and rear power lumbar.

I know where my old buckets are going after I get a new set from a 1990 B2!!!! LOL

I wish I could find one of these in a yard somewhere. I would have them installed in my BII faster than a virgin in a hooker.

my BII had some options that are by no means rare, but odd in their configuration

84 Eddie Bauer
power lumbar
zipper "map pockets"
external tire carrier
tinted rear windows
eddie colors and badges
info center

but,
manual windows, locks, hubs, transfer case, transmission (4-speed)
no a/c, no cruise.
3.45 open gears

and the entire frame and underside of the body was undercoated from the factory.

basically the eddie bauer interior shoved into a base model.

My very first truck a '90 Ranger had manual everything, no power steering, 4-cylinder... A/C and cruise... I always thought that was weird... A truck with absolutely no options except A/C and cruise... it even had an AM radio... yeah no FM at all...

My 88 has power windows, power locks, privacy glass, no roof rack, manual transmission, hubs, transfercase. and the little pockets on the seats between your legs, no tac just Oil pressure, gas, temp, volts. i also have day time running lights something my xlt ranger didnt have it was a 1990

i know my uncles old 84/85? b2 came with the inside tire carrier, the panel was curved around the tire and there was a full size spare inside. As for taking pics ha i would never have thought about that 14 years ago, but i can say this though i knew it was odd and different and after all these years to never forget it:icon_rofl:

if the interior colour options make the difference as well, well the interior was beige

il have a pic up of it once i get to cleaning it out haha

I guess the removable mirrors were still a rare option in '86. I just picked up this owners manual for my '86 today and it had these pages in them.

i was wondering... i have a 91 explorer and was wondering how much work id have to do to change it from a 4.0 to 2.9. i know id have to change the ecm. but do i have to change the wiring harness too?

rear bucket seats

I did see rear buckets in a B2 in a junkyard a few years ago, I remember thinking they were cool. From what I remember they were black seats with orange stripes and had zip up pouches on the back of the seats definitely were not aftermarket, there may have even been some type of rear console from what i remember.
