Got a pecking noise in the bottom of the engine. Don't think it's a rod bearing because it is loudest when cold and it's been my experience that a rod gets louder when it gets to operating temp and it under a load. This peck is loudest when cold and you can barely hear it when at operating temp. Is this the characteristics of a wrist pin? Thanks.

Cologne v-6?

Known for wrist pin/piston slap since '76 in America.
