lights wont shut off

2000 explorer, when i shut the switch off for the lights, they remain on for a while. It just started doing this recently. Is there an easy common fix for this or could it be the switch went bad?

i have a similar issue, i have an 03 ranger fx4 and when i turn off the truck the interioir light stays on for about 20 mins. cant figure it out

i figured out my problem, there is a switch on the rearview mirrer to make the lights automatically come on and stay on for a min. Dont know about the other problem but it might be the switch in the door
