lights switch bulbs in 95+

hy guys i just noticed that the 3 little lights from the light switch in my 99 are out, they were working fine, but today...R.I.P.
so, anyone has replaced them?
is this too difficult?
i have to replace them in my moms 03 and bros 00 too

Woah, back it up, there's lights there?

I have a 95 and since I got the truck 4 years ago, I've never seen any lights. If there are lights there, I may just check to see if I can replace my bulb then. Jeez, just when you think you know your Ranger, something like this slaps you in the face.

If I am correct there is a real small light "in the switch" that can be replaced. While you are at it you should upgrade the light to LED and get the color you want in there. There is an article on Car Domain about it, but it is too late for me to go looking for it. I have the link on my laptop and will post it in the morning if no one else does. Good Luck

well, yeah oldjohnny the switch has light in the 3 little round signs it has on top, they light when u have the ignition on, and of course when u turn on the lights
well thanks hazmat ranger, but i just wnat to replace them, the stock green is ok, if i change it then im gonna be messing the dash and a/c bulbs lol!! i know myself

The bulb on top goes into the light sw. and lights up the three spots on the dash

now i know what you guys are talking about when i had my dash ripped apart for a couple days about a month ago i had my switches for my lights and dimmer and every know and them my headlight switch did blink so there must have been a light lol

thanks a lot hazmat but if i cant find the bulb maybe im gonna get some leds to replace, but if some one has some extra switch and the bulb is good, deff check if u dont need it in your truck lol!
thanks a lot, has someone replaced that bulb?? i guess im gonna have to take apart the front part of the dash, cuz i dont think im gonna be able to take the switch from the bottom side right??
maybe the dash has some green screens that give the light color right?
if not im gonna replace with some green leds to match the dash lights

replaced the bulbs today in the 3 trucks, i didnt find the bulb , so i replaced it with a green led, its not the same green as the dash lights, but it gets the job done, so im ok
