Lights not working

About 2 weeks ago I picked up some KC daylighters and a Recon Xtreme tailgate bar. Last week I was driving and turned on the KC's and noticed only one was working, I checked the bulb it looks fine as well as all the wiring(no loose connections, broken wires or anything). I have no idea on what the issue is and I'd rather try to fix it then take the lights off and bring them back.

Now onto the Recon bar...After it was installed worked like a champ, noticed the other day when I turned off the truck and walked behind it that the light would stay on, thought I'd try to see if the different lights worked as well on it and sure enough they didn't. So I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it worked fine for a few more days. Now it just stays on all the time and all the lights work except for the signal lights.

Any ideas? I'd like to think that I didn't get two defective things at once haha.

id suggest corrosion on the plugs for the light bar, that or grounding issues. might want to check fuses aswell.

for the off road lights id have to suggest grounding issues as well.

Thanks, I'll check that stuff out when I get home.

Oh yeah and one of my fog lights doesn't work anymore. But that one is going to be fords problem to fix. I have more light issues then you can shake a stick at!

as said before, i'd double check all the grounds. make sure they go to the chassis (frame) and not just sheet metal.

I'm not overly technical on this stuff so correct me if I'm wrong (and I probably am) but if it was a grounding issue wouldn't it affect both lights and not just one since their grounded from the relay?

the relay its self is grounded, but each light should have a seperate ground

a relay is a switch that can handle more power than just a regular switch, so when you press the light switch in the cab, it essentially only turns on the relay, and a relay has to be grounded in order for it to make an electromagnetic current which then draws the power from the battery and sends it to the off road lights. but the lights still should be grounded.
