lifting two inches, the cheap way :)

so im not gonna do a body lift but i still want about a two inch lift.

im pretty set on the SJ 2.5" coils for the front but how do i know what strut i need? would i just get one designed for a ranger with that amount of lift?

and im wondering the same for the rear. im wondering how much of a block ill need for three inches of lift. i dont want my truck to sit level.. i have the stock 1.5" (?) block in the back right now.

As for the front, you can buy shocks that are designed for two inches of lift. http://www.trsfabandoffroad.com/products/skyjacker_shocks.htm

As for the rear, there are a number of ways you can lift it. Belltech 6400 Chevy drop shackles will net about ~1.5-2 inches of lift. You can also swap in Explorer leaf springs (just flip the center bolt over) and gain about ~1-2 inches of lift. Or you can just throw in a larger block and take the stock block out. I'd go for Explorer leafs and Belltech 6400s, not expensive and you'll get a better ride as opposed to a large block.

thanks! i think ill go with the 2.5" coil in front with some rancho struts and get bigger blocks and a set of rancho shocks in back. my brother has older rancho shocks and they are awesome.
