is there any easy/cheap way to lift a bit my 2WD truck??, :icon_confused: maybe an inch or two would be nice u know, i need something that is not that expensive, difficult and that will not leave the truck like too stiff, i dont want to lose the ride comfort:icon_bounceblue:

thanks!!:icon_thumby:

ohh, tha would be for the front? using higher coils, but what about the back?
thanks!!

Well if you put 2" coils in the front the trucks going to be just about level, with the front about 1/4"to1/2" higher in the front, but if you want to lift the back you can do add a leaf, block, or shackles, blocks being the cheapest

ok thanks!!!, but does adding a leaf wont give stiff ride??

maybe an inch or two not much maybe to make the look of the 4x4, maybe ill try some 31 tires first

Yeah about 100 bucks will get you a 2" lift coil from suspensionmax.com that won't give you too stiff of a ride

uhh, where? i dont see anything on that site for his truck except a 6" for almost $800 and a 5" kit for over $500.

your best bet for a small, cheap lift would be a body lift. you can pick them up for about $100 and they lift the whole truck equally, and dont effect ride quality, wear, or handling.

oohh i see , but to get me one i have to order it from internet, and that would be more expensive, cuz shops dont sell that stuff over here, there is only one single shop that has acesories for American trucks, im gonna check out with them
so putting bigger tires wont give me what i want??
thanks!!

you can put larger tires on, but you can only go so big before they will rub. i dont think 31's will fit on a stock 2wd without rubbing (but i could be wrong).

a lift will allow you to clear larger tires.

body lifts consist of a few spacers and some bolts. they dont take up a lot of space and they dont weight much, i cant imagine shipping would be THAT outragous.

i used to live in a remote part of alaska not accessable by land....so i know where your coming from with shipping charges.

you have to call them cause they are no longer posted on their site, i have a pair of 2" coils from them i bought for 115 bucks with shipping, they changed their site around and it confused me a little bit too

body lifts are cool and all until the body mounts wear out and your truck starts to lean... i'm not putting your ideas down at all, i just think that if you save your money and go with a suspension lift you will be much happier in the end and will be worth the wait.

I honestly feel you will be much happier with a 4" lift. That's the first lift I did to my Ranger and wish I had gone bigger. Don't we all want more lift?

i do not and will never know ever thing. sooo school me on how any why this happens cause iv never seen it, or heard any one give this disclaimer.

my 2 cents do a body lift its cheep and easy. just dont go over 2 inches with a bolt on kit. you start having issues with cables and such and its starts to become unsafe.
