I recently put a P/A 3'' Body Lift of my 89 Ranger. For the life of me I cannot find bumper brackets to lift the bumpers. any ideas HELP me it looks horrible right now.:icon_welder:

cut off the front of the grame horns and weld a flat peice of steel to each side and onto the end attached to the bumpers, drill holes, bolt in place......

or, live with it, is a truck, there not supposed to look good

take the lift off and grab the sawzall. the bumpers will look stock again,

thats what happened to my truck^, when i bough it tho

geez and I was going to ask the same is what do the front brackets look like since I now have a brush guard to go on...

sorry for the notejack

I did a 3" on my 2000. The bumper relocation brackets were shit. I slid into a fence and the bumper just bent to shit.

Take your bumper off and see how it's mounted to the chassis. See if you can get some thick plate, drill it to match the holes in the chassis. Then drill the other end to match the bumper's bolt holes. Just angle them so the bumper is on there straight. Ya dig?

That makes the front bumper about worthless, except it'll look normal. If I were you I'd weld a piece of square tube on the inside of the new "brackets" for a little protection.
