IMO a set of dana 44's and leaf springs are all I need.

Painted the battery tray.

Core support welded in.

Primed

Painted

And started on putting it all back together.

Bumper primed

And the truck as I left it for the night.

Here is how I am mounting the lights in the bumper.

So just an interference fit between the light and bumper? How tight is it? Good work finding material that fit it snug (I'm sure it is or you wouldn't do it).

The rubber it to help hold the light/dampen the vibrations. I will be attatching the bracket on the light to the bumper but I am not sure how I will do that yet as I also need to consider how I am going to put the struts that I cut out back in.


It is not tight, but not loose. It is the perfect fit. I dont know how else to describe it. It will protect it from shocks but not be a pain in the ass to remove when the bulb needs to be changed.

Went to the junkyard today. Pulled some parts to complete swapping in the extended cab bump out windows.

I have also started on swapping over to my spare doors which have no dents. I plan to cut my current doors down for trail doors.

I picked up my 3rd Hydroboost unit today. Dont ask why. Both previous units were broken through pure stupidity. It will be going in tomorrow and I will be taking the truck for a spin.

Also did spark plugs. Hoping that is the source of my rough idle.
