Lifting my 97

Murphy - I fawkin hate that guy.

Bummer on the loose lugs man. I scanned the pics before you put up the story and was like WTF happened there lol.

Hope you get the rich running engine figured out. I'd give you some suggestions but I don't know where to start. Engine trouble shooting isn't my cup of tea

I am pissed and am going to bed. I was supposed to go wheeling this weekend and obviously thats not happening now.

dude.. i get out the strip club.. see u called me.. im like oh no.

get home.. check im.. crap.. new plans for tomorrow. :flipoff:

just found you build, nice work. If you havent done it already I would weld some plate on the outside portions of the tabs on the ext. rad arms that connect to the axle. I was going to do that when I originally planned on using them. Ive seen some pictures of them cracking right where the axle starts on the tab.

Heck yes, man!!!!:icon_thumby::icon_thumby:

Isn't that the best feeling in the world?!!! Nice to see someone stick it out and work on their rig as long as they can
(or until the hardware store closes and you can't get new parts).

Question? What's a crush-proof tailpipe? I've never seen or heard of that before.

Good job Tim...

I think you just need to SAS that thing already...

my lugs bottomed out on the studs when I got new wheels and ruined them as well. It sucks but its a good lesson. I get the open/thread thru type lug nuts now...

C'mon, man!!! Your gonna send someone into epileptic shock!!!:D And I know a thing or two about epilepsy, that's why I no talk well. (Seriously)

Anyhoo............

Man, that stinks that after all that hard work to get it going, something else breaks on you.

Could you tell me what a crush-proof tailpipe is!????

I looked at the picture he posted of the crush proof tail pipe and it has some kind of rubber in it. I guess its made so it can get bottomed on a rock and then the rubber will let it go back to original shape

You guys are reading a little too much into it.

I think it was an expirement. That either failed horribly or was a joke.

People have problems with the tailpipe being crushed in the stock location, well, while wheeling that is. I myself have had this happen. My truck no longer has a stock location pipe and just a "turn down/side exit" type deal.

I was going to use some 3" rubber Marine grade exhaust hose.

The heat from the exaust destroyed it. I dont know if it may work out when I dont have a failing coil pack dumping raw fuel into my cats making them red hot.

Fixed the truck and took it out again.

That is a JK on 37s. He is stuck. I pulled him out with 2wd. He needed 4x4 to pull me out.
