Okay so my buddy has a 1992 4runner, and I was trying to figure out what he can do to lift it a bit...
From my understanding, it is Torsion bar up front, and coils in the back. Obviously, he can crank the torsion bars for a bit of lift... And I assume bigger coils, or coil spacers for the back end??
Does anyone have experience with Toyotas?
Links to actual parts or part numbers or anything like that would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Toytec has a 2in lift kit with ball joint spacers and rear coil springs. You can also check Daystar for rear spacers. Old Man Emu also makes coil springs. You can also check out this site: http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/ForSale/BallJointSpacer.shtml for ball joint spacers. And I believe Tuff Country makes a 4in lift kit as well. And you can also get a body lift if I'm not mistaken.

Body lifts are only available for manual transmission 4runners, and my buddy drives an auto. The shifter is on the floor, so I assume it has something to do with that.

Im just trying to find a cheap way to get 2" of lift outta his truck so its not quite so lame...

also, take note, that year 4 runner, most likely has the v6, which is STILL being covered by toyotas headgasket campaign. i have gotten dealers todo a couple for me, they still get payed for it by toyota corp.
