I have a 94 supercab 4x4 with the 4.0L. I was wondering if F-150 coil seats would make it able to fit some 33's. It is currently sporting 235/75R15's, all original. Just looking for an easier and cheaper way.

This is my old 4x4 F-150 but it cost too much and took too long to lift it.

You would have to trim your fenders some, but after doing so, 33s would fit with just a spacer lift.

I know little to nothing about these smaller trucks... I'm used to F-150's-350's. If I were to add the F-150 coil seats, would I have to add in those POS spacers also? Would there be an issue with my steering, so a drop down too? Thanks! From other posts I've read, you seem to be "The Wise One!"

???

The F-150 parts ARE the spacers (or are you referring to something else that's not so common of a mod?)

Ok, I found your "TRS magazine - Lifting Your Ranger On A Budget." This helped me out a lot! I'll most likely be working on this once I finish my homework!

I was getting confused since you said "spacer" instead of the coil seat. By "spacer" I was thinking of those auto part store plastic spacers. Thanks again!

Oh sorry. Yeah a "spacer" is normally anything used to bring the lower coil seat upward for lift. There are a few different types of spacers available (the F-150 seats being one of them).

Those things you get at chain stores that clamp onto or twist into the coil's windings are actually dangerous (not to mention can ruin the coil itself). Definitely avoid those at all costs.
