i have 88 b2 need to know if they are solid lifter or hydrolic lifters mine need ajusted bad tick and loss of power any input would be good thanks

They are hydraulic, and the strange thing is that they are adjustable. But in theory they should never need adjustment, most engine with hydraulic lifters do not have any means of adjustment.

If they need replacing the intake has to be removed before they will pass by :-(

OMG I really did just do that didn't I LOL !
I meant head and typed frigg'n intake.

Ah well. Egg meet face.

New lifters should never be installed on an old cam, they wear/break-in together. The new lifters will usually eat up the cam. Read in the archives here at TRS about lifters ticking. It is really common with 2.9L's

Just adjust them enough to take the clicking out..
