I found a guy selling his 6 month old procomp 5 in lift kit on CL for 300. He said I'll have to get the bolts for it cuz he's using the ones it came with. also i dont think he will include the brake line kit that it originally came with.

Q 1: i know I need grade 8 bolts, but how many and how long do they need to be?

Q 2: how do I go about finding the brake line extension kit for cheap?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm sure the item will go fast

with a 2.3l you really dont need a lift that big but, if you insist. do you have beams? just get 2 inch coils and a 2 inch spacer to lift the front and 2-3.5 inch blocks in the rear. and boom about 3.5 inchis of lift all the way around for less than 300.

right now my fron susp. is 3 in lower than the rear so Itll end up being 3.5 in total lift because most of the 5 in front lift will be used to level out the truck. it comes with 3.5 in lift blocks so even after that it will still have a slight 1.5 in rake. What do you suggest for the brakeline extension kit?

if you like rake. i like my front to be higher then my rear so i would just do the front (like i did on my truck). also why is your nose 3 inches lower? usually its only two? for the brake line i would check ebay, it has plenty of cheap parts.

As the front coils wear the front end sags.

And since the front end is sagged, it will be more like a 6" lift in the front (5" over stock plus the inch lost from spring sag)

Make sure it is from a 2wd pickup.

I like a little rake, I don't like my truck looking like it has worms with a load in the back let alone empty.

everything looks straight. you should get some 15inch rims before you put it on your truck though.

ill get him down to 250. i've got a set of 235/75r15's with rims lined up, ive been discussing them here on another thread (Is this a good deal). Does it look like all of the components are there? He has the lift blocks theyre just not pictured.

Yeah heavy fire, I can't afford new tires with the lift so I'm going to buy the lift and run the used 235/75's until I can buy new tires.

Also, Does anyone know If a tire shop like les scwhab or Big-O tires recalibrate my speedometer?

Also, On the procomp lift section of the james oaks enterprise page there is an '89-'96 kit and then a separate '97 kit. Does this matter or will it still fit?
