LH Crash Sensor Location on 2001 XLT

Hello, I'd like to check out my LH crash sensor on my 2001 Ranger XLT 3.0 and not sure where I should look for it. My air bag light is flashing 4 then 6 and then staying on. I need to get the light to stay off so I can get an inspection sticker next month. I'm thinking some moisture got on it and it just needs to be dried out to get the light to shut off. If that doesn't work would you just unplug the airbag somehow or would that interfere with something else ? Any help you could send my way would be greatly appreciated.

The impact sensors are built into the airbag module under the center of the dash, on the transmission tunnel. You can't remove or replace them separately. The code you have is for the driver's seat belt pretensioner and could very well be a connection problem under the seat.

Thanks for taking the time to help out a newbie !I'll look under the seat tomorrow and see if anything is loose. I'll let you know what I find.
