leveling

I installed Rough Country leveling coils. Afterwords I had to much camber, more than what alignment bushings will take care of. I'm going to get the TTB drop brackets and was wondering if I need the radius arm drop brackets also?
 
for only leveling coils, i wouldnt imagine so.

you really couldnt get camber back to specs? you tried a higher offset camber bushing?
 
Well I looked at my truck again and the radius arms do have an angle to it. I'm going to post pics later to show. Would 4 inch drop be to much though?
 
You dont need drop brackets. Install a set of dual adjustable camber bushings. They have adjustment for up to ±4 degrees.

Ingalls 594, Specialty Products 24180, Moog K8986, Spicer #6122025, Napa NCP 264-3950, Superlift SLF-1120, pick your poison.

Secondly, eye it up and adjust it as close as possible, and take your truck down a dirt road or something to help settle the springs before taking it to get an alignment.
 
The alignment shop said it cannot be aligned with 4 degree bushings. The camber looks like this\ /. I'm in the process of uploading pics.

That can be adjusted.

If they say they can't align it, take it somewhere else.
 
I was just wondering since they are at an angle now, but the passenger side toward the back where the bolt is looks to be rubbing. Hell the whole passenger side beam looks like it is turned a little also.
 
they arent level even with stock suspension. but its not going to hurt them to leave them stock with just leveling coils.

it does sound like you need new radius arm bushings though.
 
I dunno, that looks like a lot of camber to me... (also looks like you have quite a bit of toe-in too)
Looking at that I think it's going to need drops all around (and possibly a pitman arm to go with the drops).

Tuff Country sells a set of 2" drops that might work well for that.

What is the part number for the Tuff Country drops? I was looking at the skyjacker drops. They say they are for lifts of 4-6 inches but how much of an actual drop do they provide?
 
You'll need actual lift coils to use 4" drops, not leveling coils (well, maybe leveling coils + spacers might work also)

If it were me, I'd put the stock coils back in and use coil spacers. The lift you get is much more predictable that way.

Yeah, I know the spacers would have been better but in my case the old coils are shot. Thanks anyway. So the skyjacker ones would have to much of a drop and I should use the Tuff Country ones? I looked at the Tuff Country drops but wasn't sure about them. They didn't look like they provide any drop but pics are deceiving sometimes. I'll try those.
