I'm doing a 1 inch body lift on my 96 2wd ranger but also want to level the front end. I've been seeing people talking about leveling with washers. Is leveling with washers an option? I want the front level with the rear? will I need alignment after leveling the front witht he rear? how many washers would this take if possible?

Thanks,
Jason

How much lift?

Manitoba Yes I want to level the front end with the rear in addition to doing a 1 inch body lift.

How much of lift towards leveling the front end can you get from the washer level? Is it a matter of how many washer's will fit the stock bolt? What is safe or recommended. Is a alignment necessary afterwards.

Thanks,
Jason

i would really like to know as well. and if i lift my truck 2 inches "95 splash" on the front will i need longer shocks need help here

The general rule of thumb:

If changing the suspension 2" or less, no new shocks needed. More then 2", get new ones.
