hey guys im putting in some leveling coils how do i know what size cam bushing things to buy to get the camber back to spec and how do they work? or do i just bring it to an alighment shop and theyll figure it out??

Hey Bert296, I looked on Summit Racing's website and they list skyjacker's 2 inch lift kit, which is leveling coils in the front and add a leafs in the rear. Here's a link: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SJA-132K/
When you go to that link, they had a tab for Required Parts. When you click on that tab, you will see the shims they recommend. One listing is for 2wd and the other is for 4wd. They both provide + or - 2 degrees. They are a little pricey at just over $40. If you search Summit's website, they also sell some shims made by Moog for $14. If you go to Advance auto parts website: http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/subcategory_alignment-hardware_15766
They have several different models with varing degrees of adjustment and price. Make sure you use your trucks information, instead of the info I plugged in. One thing I did notice: Moog's shims worked for both 2 & 4 wd, where as Skyjackers was specific to either 2 wd or 4 wd. I don't know if there is a difference or not.

Once you get them installed, you can eye-ball and get them close. After that, you can drive to a shop and have them do the alignment. From what I understand, and what I've experienced, a lot of shops can't align our trucks for chamber. They can do the toe in adjustment. Let us know how it goes.

Ive never run into that problem. I just took it to an alignment shop and the fixed it up just fine.

It's been a while (years) since I touched ball joints and shims. Even then, it was on an F-150. Look at this diagram: http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/FR/full.aspx?Page=112
You can see how the ball joints mount to the spindle assembly. Where the ball joints go through the I-beam, that's where the shims are. It's been over 5 years, so I can't remember how exactly I changed the shims out. Maybe someone else can remember how to do it.
