I have an 86 extended cab ranger. I pulled the dash apart almost two years ago. I have a newer gage cluster that I am thinking about installing that has the tach. I have aftermarket amp, oil and temp gages. The only gages I would use in the stock gage cluster are the gas gage "when I fix it" and the speedo. I have the wires and hookup installed for my head unit. My seats are trashed so I will be going to pick and pull for buckets seats. I have been looking at the posts using led lights and will be doing that as well. Please show me your setups or point me to a thread that has this info.

TIA

It amazing what you can do with a little fiberglass, some bondo, a can of paint, and one of these:

You can turn it into this:

BTW, Its gauge, not gage.

Was your dash made for a double din head unit? I am thinking about putting my after market gages where the stock one are next to the speedo but I like your setup too. I need a console to put my mp3 player and or my pepsi in a drink holder.

Only two guys posted their dash? I know there are more people who tricked out their dash.

snoranger - that is nice dude!

Mine is just like Endoverend47's

Going to veneer and stain it so it looks old school.

There's a guy with a dash around here that is similar to an airplane, but can't remember who it was.

Thank you, thank you.

Yeah, if you look at Bassheads dash, thats what the radio bezel looks liked stock.
I know its not a 1st gen, but I figured it could inspire you to do something custom. I like the aluminum plate look in the 1st gen, but its seems like thats getting too common now.

Nice dashes. Will be mocking one up like those two. Airplane dash is in my sig..
