At last got a day to play so i got the rear bumper built, used some idea's i seen on the site and put them together, So thanks for the idea's.

Going to put some back up lights and hang the highlift again.

I made mine out of 1 1/2" 11ga tubing for a frame then covered it with 1/8" plate. There are two back up lights as well as two d rings on the rear and four lights (2 6" and 2 5") on the front along with d rings. There is also a 2" reciever front and rear that is reinforced with 3/8" plate.

How well do those 37's clear your fenders? and that back bumper is NICE! I think i'm gonna copy it haha, after i get my body lift on it, don't want a gap back there. How long did it take you?

Ok here's my contribution to the bumper thread...I fabbed these from a bunch of scrap I had around.

heres a couple I did. one is an SWAT F-650 with an armored bumper I fabbed and the other is a Freightliner SWAT truck that I used a Road Armor bumper on and made uprights and a winch mount for.

They are both on special SWAT chassis that are designed for alot of weight. The F650 weighs 25,000 and the Freightliner weighs 29,000

both have 1/4" armor on the whole body and are designed for 10 plus driver and co driver.


anyway I built these bumpers as well as some on several F-550 SWAT trucks that are shaped like the stock bumper but are armor.

Meh, I like Copycats BII better.. I prefer real work/custom fabrication to stick on and bolt on accessories.
