lets see the crossbreads

It is not so much the chevy in a Ford but...
SBCs have been put in everything. I quit going to car shows because every car has the same motor under the hood. I've seen SBCs put together every way imaginable plus some.
If you want something different, How about a 350 buick. The lightest of all the 350s, lots of low end torque, They were plentyful in the 70's. 'course they are all gone now and expensive to build but, what the heck, It's different.

I haven't seen a 350 Buick before. I have seen a few Olds 350 Rocket motors. I had an instructor in trade school who had a 71 Cutlass with a Rocket in it. I was the only student he'd let move it. It was pretty torquey too.

i can get some for ya... ive often thought about adding a turbo manifold and turbo with a propane kit on my DD ranger (2.3), and pressurizing a 425 mixer!

=======================================
My Dad has a 72 Cutlass Supreme Convertible w/350 Rocket, only 77K ORIGINAL miles on it............

I have had a 350 Buick before, came out of a 76 Century, BIG car, I put it in a 84 Pontiac Bonneville that had a locked up 3.8 V6, was one of the EASIEST swaps I've ever done............EVERYTHIN from front of the 3.8 Buick V6 bolted to the front of the 350.......even Chevys don't do that in most cases prior to 4.3L......and YES, the 350 Buick was TORQY and it was just a rochester 2 barrel!!!

id take any chevy motor over a ford. we all know chevy is better anyway.

that thing got a hemi in it?

:icon_thumby:
