It is not so much the chevy in a Ford but...
SBCs have been put in everything. I quit going to car shows because every car has the same motor under the hood. I've seen SBCs put together every way imaginable plus some.
If you want something different, How about a 350 buick. The lightest of all the 350s, lots of low end torque, They were plentyful in the 70's. 'course they are all gone now and expensive to build but, what the heck, It's different.

Thanks, Mike. Do you have any pics of your propane setup? I've often considered doing one on my 94 once the turbo is on.
=======================================I haven't seen a 350 Buick before. I have seen a few Olds 350 Rocket motors. I had an instructor in trade school who had a 71 Cutlass with a Rocket in it. I was the only student he'd let move it. It was pretty torquey too.
