I bought a 1990 B2 about a year ago. I love it, I have always wanted a B2 but either couldn't find one, or could afford one when I did.
So far all my work has been getting rid of the rust and fixing minor issues (power windows & power locks didn't work; brakes were bad and a few of the lugs where rusted/corroded, rust rust and more rust). Now that is all taken care of I need to dive into more cost and time consuming projects. It is my daily drive so up till now I've been avoid things that would take it out of commision.
It's been off roading several times and never disappoints but it needs bigger/wider tires. I'll probably take it up and inch or two just for looks (and a little added clearence). But the work is going to be getting all the gremlins out of the 2.9 engine and replacing the factory suspension (that is shot).

I only have a few questions that I can't seem to figure out. First off, the truck makes almost a grinding noise when under load. I can't tell what part of my front end it's coming from and since it only makes that noise under load (like gett'n on it from a stance, or gett'n on it up hill) it's hard to pin point. It's also hard because with 160,xxx miles on it, everything underneath looks a little rough). I'm also not 100% positive that it's coming from the front end.

My only other question would be "is there any way humanly possible that I can change the oil pan gasket without lifting the engine". It leaks, not terribly but enough that I have to keep an eye on the oil level between changes.
I've enjoyed working on my Bronco 2 so far and have no plans getting rid of it anytime soon.
