I don't drive my ranger much anymore, but when i drove it to work the other day the clutch didn't want to release and when got home i checked the reservoir and it was empty, i filled it up and now it wont even go into gear. So my question is do i just need to simply bleed the system, or is there something more to it than that?

The fluid didn't just magically disappear. You have a leak somewhere.

I haven't checked it in a long time, and i don't see any brake fluid anywhere. I just filled it up after the fact to see if i could move it.
