I just got most of the parts for a 4" front lift and was wondering about the brake lines, I am poor so cheap works out great, anyone use stock lines off something else, also what about cutting the hard line and moving it down a couple inches. Anybody got some ideas with what will work and how much slack is needed ? Not planing on to much offroading but it is my dd. Thanks for any help.

Some hydraulic shops will make brake lines usually for about half the price of buying new ones. Some will even use your current lines to make "new" longer ones. Call around shops and ask.

okay, I know we make our own hoses at work but never thought about it.
I was just thinking about add on to it though, my lines are new. Thanks for help though.

I didnt know it was there but it would be way to long to use those numbers but I am guessing that I could try the same thing. Just use a second hose for both sides and try to find some a little shorter. I am guessing that I would be able to get by with about a 1foot long hose or do you need a longer piece, it only a 4" lift. I have shocks coming but have not started on it yet. I am using truck for dd so dont want it to be down for very long. I did search just not in the tech library

It really all depends on how much travel you have. There's no point in running a hose 8 inches longer when a hose 3 inches longer will work just as well.

For example, I'm at about 3 inches suspension lift BUT I have over 15" of travel. So I needed a really long hose.

Well, I 'm not sure yet but it is a pro comp lift. I am thinking it is not going to be to much more than the stock setup. I dont know very much about it guess I will start searching. :icon_confused:
