As noted in my Lego collection thread I ordered the UNIMOG set. It showed up Tuesday morning via FEDEX. This is a huge set, at 2048 pieces!

16 bags of parts plus the wheels/tires, an electric motor and the battery box.

There was four sets of bags, numbered 1-4, with varying number of bags in each set. A total of 5 instruction books. So bear with me as this may take a day or three to build!

First module complete. This section houses the electric motor, the "PTO" controls, and the will get the battery box slid into it later on.

Rear drive axle/frame assembly built and installed. I'll need to go back and see if I can get a nice close up of the portal axle to post.

Do it without instructions... sissy...

Ha! That thing is cool though. Legos are amazing. I read the thread title and got a little excited, thought someone was build a full scale unimog out of legos.

I forgot to post the last couple of pics of the finished model. Took me just over a total of 9hrs to build.

I'm thinking about downloading the instructions for the plow set up to see what it would look like. Might build it and put it on just for kicks!
