left over wires (C124 connector)

I have about 20 extra or left over wires coming off the C124 connector. What has been the solution to this? I am thinking about cuting them and puting a little heat shrink over each wire and plug the hole with some none conduting goup like liquid insulation. Any other thoughts? Thanks!

That's what I did. Cut them, shrink wrapped, then wrapped them into the harness.

(for others researching, we're talking about remenants of the stock ranger engine harness, like injectors, etc.)
