human eyes don't pick up the color red as much as other colors... so even though the red is probably at the same intensity as others it'll always seem less.

to ****ingonutz. I've put 2, 15" of the blue LED strips on my Ranger. and their is a place to hides them decently. for 89' to '91 EXT Cab verisons their is a panel under the rear window. You can take the off and stick the lights on the bottom on the rounded edge. it hides them the best. plus what i did is run the wires behind the panel up the side molding in the back. under the headliner and into the dome light. it works greats. but you need to sand the lip of the panel cuz the lights won't stick well. i'll put up pictures just in case.
