LED Dome Light

Thinking about replacing my Domelight bulb with a Green LED lightbulb to match the stereo/dash. Not sure which ones to get..or really the difference between the 3. superbrightlights.com says 921-x12, 921-x9, t13-x6. Has anyone done this? How do you like your results?

fwiw, you can e-mail superbrightleds (not lights) and they will tell you the best LED for the application... i've done it numerous times and they won't tell you the most expensive one b/c it cost more... they will tell you the truth. they are a great company with great customer service.

I have clear ones, but believe it or not, the stock bulbs illuminated it better than the LED panels I put in.

Which "Panel" did you get because there's a big difference between say "5050 SMD" devices and
the smaller 3100-comething LED devices.


I just spend a whopping $2.49 on a "panel" that uses twelve 5050SMD LCD's

This "panel" is brighter by itself than the original dome lamp and both map lamps combined.

It arrived in yesterdays mail and I didn't see the mail until after dark..
as soon as I had this thing in hand I had to install it... it took hours for the after-image to fade.

Prices on LED's are comming WAY down...

I've seen Superbright single LED replacements for 194's (typical wedge base bulbs) for about $1each.
