I have the same issue with my 2000 extended cab 2-wheel drive Ranger. Only 58,000 miles, never been wrecked, all stock, except for tires size.
I used to have a Chevrolet S10 that leaned the same exact way. The way I corrected the "lean" was to install a 1" polyurethane coil spring spacer on the driver's side to lift that side up and it corrected the lean. I got the spacer from summitracing.com for like, I think it was like 18 bucks or something.
Now, my Ranger is leaning to the left but the passenger side front is higher than the passenger side back, making the passenger front corner of the truck higher than the rest of the truck. If you look at my truck from a side view, from the passenger side the rear is lower.
So the plan I have is this, I am going to buy a 1" coil spring spacer to go on the driver's side to even out the side-to-side lean. Once I do this the back will be about 1" lower than the front, so I'm going to buy some 2" lift blocks so it can sit at just the right angle.
Besides correcting these leans, It will raise up my truck a little, which is cool to me, because it will look better.
What do you guys think about this?
also.. When I had my S10, I installed the spring spacer on
top of the driver's side coil. I read somewhere on the site that on the Rangers, the spacer goes
under the coil.
