my friend just bought a '97 4.0 4x4, the mil is on and reads too lean bank 1 and 2, and in data stream it shows max 25% long term fuel trim learn as well as 7 mafs faults, and it stalls at opp. temp. and the idle bounces, but the computer shows the iac is working properly. it had a extra large k&n filter, i swapted it out for a smaller volant setup, no change. is there a way to test the mafs? or could there be something i over looked? bad computer?
