Leaf spring plans

So on my ranger the middle leaf on the driver's side pack is missing from the bolt forward. It's been like that since I bought the truck. As a temporary fix I threw a 2" lift block on just the one side to make the sag not look so bad, but it's finally time to replace it. I don't feel like spending $300 on a brand new set of leaf springs and I think if I replace just the driver's side with a brand new one it'll sit funny because the passenger side is probably sagging a little after fifteen years.

So my plan is to get a passenger side leaf spring from a junk yard and throw it onto the driver's side and I think it should sit pretty well.

I want the passenger side leaf because I figure it'll be less affected by the "Ranger lean" than another driver's side leaf would be.

I'm far from a suspension expert so I just wanted to run my plan by everybody before I started getting into it. Also, pretty much any 3 leaf pack from the ranger will work, correct?

Thanks, guys.
