The rear leaf spring mount has completely came off the frame and is sitting up against the underside of the truck bed. Im going to take it to a shop to be fixed since I nor my dad want to mess with welding on the frame. Was just wondering if anyone knew about how much this would cost, as to have an idea before I get a quote.

*Will probably have the other side re done as well with a new mount

You don't need to weld it, just grind the rivets off and bolt the new mount on.

Look in Tech Library

The info you need is somewhat described in the Tech Library at top of this page. Then Rear suspension section middle of page. Then Rear Shackles and Hangers area. Please See Post 2 below yours for some detailed information about front hanger bushing which will in general apply to you doing the rear hangers and shackles. NO Welder Required. :icon_welder::icon_bounceblue:

Thank you for the input guys, really appreciate it. Looks like my dad and I will be fixing this sometime soon.

with fresh shackle kit and bolts takes me about a half hour if the bolt comes out of the spring eye.
