Leaf spring conversion, then SAS

I would love to learn more about your 6.5 diesel swap you did, considering doing a diesel swap one day in the future after I blow up what I have. Keeping it 4wd may be the trick, don't know that much about chevy stuff outside the 350 let alone gm trannies.

I do agree, going to a solid axle d44 from a ttb d35 isn't much of an upgrade, strength wise that is.

I know theres plenty of people both for the dana 44 and against them, but it is a giant step up from lifting the trash thats in the front of my 99. I've seen plenty of trucks around my neck of the woods that run dana 44 fronts with no damage, even on 44 boggers. Then again rock crawling aint big around here. But damn, its better than a dana 30, and Ill prolly keep either 36s or get 38s

i wanna be one of them HOLY ROLLERS, 44's on a 44 are ludicrous, i would think the axle would commit suicide before allowing it to take place lol

Well yea that truck is more for show than anything. Its held up on 42s for about a year then 44s for another year so far. Its been through a handful of holes but mostly sees pavement

Hey If Someone Want To Give Me A Sex Of 44's Ill Show You How Well They Hold Up On A D44 Cause Right Now Im Only Running 36's But Ill Give Bigger One Hell Too If You Wanna Give Me A Set
