My credo
If you can't go through it or around it, then go over it.
what automatic transmission came in the 99 F250 that looks like the F150?

other question....... how do I decode the vin so I don't have to keep asking?

https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/vin_tools/default.asp for the vin

Here's a little info on your 250.

No problem. I'm glad my insomnia was at least a little productive.

apparently I can't view it on my phone........ is the F150 7700 the same rig as the F250 LD?
Seen one (F150 7700) in traffic today on my way back from drooling over 4 color back lit 55" LED 240hz full on 1080p 3d TVs at Best Buy and it appeared to be 7 lug.....

Yea' the f150 7700 is the same as the LD250

When the super duty came out they just switched the name, I guess for less confusion.

It was also when the '150 got a facelift, I always figured that was the reason.

Generally when I see one they have had the crap beat out of them.

They also have unique rims, I always wondered how Ford figured up that it was cheaper to design freakishly oddball rims for it than to throw another 4 studs/nuts on a truck and using off the shelf Super Duty rims. :icon_confused:

yeah, how hard is it to get rims for these trucks now?

(i just saw one for the first time, f-150 with 7 lug counted it about 10 times to make sure i wasn't seeing things)

There are a couple aftermarket options out there, dunno if it is the same pattern but there are still making 7 lug trucks.
