LCA Busing Insert Thingies

That's the technical term, or it might as well be because I can't find out what they are called! I mentioned this in a previous thread, but wanted to make a new one. Not only do I just have one set of these (other is MIA), they won't fit in to my bushings that I just had pressed in anyway, unless MAYBE if the current center metal sleeve was removed. Here are some pics. These are for a Chevy but mine look the same:

I'm not sure which part faces out either, but it doesn't matter because like I said, there is no way for them to go into my bushings. The Ford parts guy said they come installed on new complete LCA's which I'm starting to wish I would have purchased in the first place.

Any thoughts on what I should do? Do I need these?
