Last Night

So a few of my friends and I decided to go wheelin' on the snowmobile trails last night. It was rough going through some of the snow. And eventually I got buried. Well to make a long story short here are a few pictures. Be sure to look at the last one closely.

It sheered the Cross Pin. My friends and I were actually impressed. Ok I was little p***ed too.
Yeah so my rear wheels are locked up and it is still sitting out on the trail. Time to go find a cheep 8.8. Anybody got one in the UP or is bored and want to help me move the truck?

Do you know where Kuru's is at? Last I was there, he had one or two Explorers, not sure if they still had the rear axles or not. I'm sure Todd would know.

So did you air down those BFGs at all? Makes a big difference in the snow as far as staying on top.

Why cant you pull the rest of the cross pin and the spiders that spin on it and drive out with front wheel drive? (with a little help from the chebby of course...)

I was at 15 on front and 13 on the rear. We were freezing and wanted to get out of the woods. I am going back today to see if I can free the rear. We also have to turn the truck around. In 3 feet of snow. And that chevy was getting stuck almost as much as I was. It was too cold and dark last night to work any longer.
