My wife dropped her laptop and the screen shattered went to order a new one offline but I dont know what is the difference between a 1 CCFL Screen and a regular LCD:icon_confused: any help is appreciated

A CCFL is a fluorescent light used to light the screen, the LCD is the screen itself. Is the lighting attached to the screen? Usually, the light (sometimes 2 lights) is/are at the side(s) or top/bottom of the LCD screen, and projects into the glass from the screen edge.
Seems to me you may be asking how many lights are in your laptop. Count how many thin tubes you have in the LCD frame. They're usually about 1/8 inch thick.
Many computers now have LED screen lighting, which is more energy efficient, and lets the battery last longer.
