I am really hoping this is somehow possible. I need to get back to work after a winter off. Right now all I have to use as a contractor vehicle is my good ol' grape-ape 96 Ranger stepside model. Anyone know of a ladder rack that will work with this type of bed?

Thank you in advance!!!

I had some 1/4" aluminum plate bent. It was about a foot wide and the 1.5" x 90 degree bend was on the outside. I fastened the plate to the box with bolts and spacers underneath to spread the load. Attached the racks to the aluminum plate. It worked great. I had a topper meant for a regular box on as well and also cut a piece of 3/4" plywood to act as a shelf. This setup carried my ladders and materials to do siding.

Build it. Or find a high school with a welding class and let the students build it.
In high school I passed the .gov welding test, and I wasn't the only to do so. Youngsters would love to do it.

^^^ If you don't already have a rack this is a great idea.
