What is the general time to install Traction Lock in a 7.5 rear with no Traction Lock? The only local rear ends I can find in the junk yards (with Traction Lock) have 2 to 3x the miles (I only have 62k)

I'm just looking for a general idea so when I start calling around I'll know what's a stupid price and what's fair. Thanks.

I would think around $200 in labor for a shop to swap the diff with another unit and recheck the backlash setting.

Have you looked into 8.8" axles? Ones with L/S diffs were much more common in the later years than 7.5s were, and would be more likely to have lower miles. They'll swap exactly the same as a 7.5" would, and would have bigger brakes as well.

I have been looking at both 7.5 and 8.8's. I'm having no luck finding them with Traction Lock. Doesn't sound like it'll be too much to have it installed.
