l/s

I have an 08 Ranger with an open 7.5" 3.73 (axle code 86) and I would like to put in an l/s but I have a couple of question?

Should I change my gear ratio or just find another 3.73?
Are there any axles/diffs that are a direct swap?
Where is the best place to get an axle or diff?

I would put the 4.10 gear ratio

i would just use the explorer diff with some mods, difficult to find 4.10s but it can be done. you will prolly spend the same amount on an sploder diff then what you could get a new l/s and carrier for. but if you can find one for the 7.5 go for it.

some 4x4 rangers had 4.10 with L/s diferentials too.
so that way u dont have to do any welding stuff on leaf and shock perches.
